Uzabase reveals brand refresh and new logo

Tokyo – April 1, 2020 – Uzabase, Inc. is excited to unveil its new corporate branding, a comprehensive renewal that includes a redesigned corporate logo and website.
Uzabase was founded in 2008 with a mission to provide "We guide business people to insights that change the world" and become a core component of the global business and economic information infrastructure.

Today, we develop and provide multiple services that support the decision-making processes of business professionals in a wide range of B2B and B2C scenarios, including our business intelligence platform SPEEDA, our social business media NewsPicks, and our B2B marketing platform FORCAS. Over the past number of years, we have taken on the new challenge of expanding into the global market, focusing on Asia, particularly China, for SPEEDA, launching FORCAS in the USA, as well as acquiring US business media Quartz in 2018.

This brand renewal marks the beginning of our push to establish an even stronger company structure and foster a culture that attracts a truly diverse range of talent, be it in terms of nationality, language, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or religion.

 

Our New Corporate Logo

This rebranding sees the colour of our corporate logo evolve from red to monochrome. Red, which represents the energy and passion of a startup company, has now transformed to a neutral monochrome, which better encapsulates the maturity of the business we have established over the past 12 years. In other words, it signifies our growth as a company.
Black is a colour that is formed through the overlapping of many different colours. Uzabase too is a combination of different colours, our businesses, and so the use of black to represent the whole symbolizes the respect we have for the individual personalities of the businesses that make up Uzabase. Black also expresses simplicity and solidity, a platform on which the unique personalities of our businesses find the support they need to stand out and thrive.

The shape of our new logo is also more rounded. This is to express the warmth of the people here at Uzabase who truly care about the services we provide, and their dedication to the pursuit of our mission.

 

Key Concepts

The key concepts behind the Uzabase brand are reliability and innovation. Our goal is to establish a global brand image centred on these two core ideas, driving forward as a company that is always open and honest in all of its interactions and is constantly seeking to evolve as it pursues its mission.

 

New Corporate Website

The overall design of our corporate website has been revamped to reflect the renewal of the Uzabase brand. The base colour of the new website is now monochrome, our new corporate color, which gives it a solid presence as a platform. The content and overall design have been kept simple, while animations and fonts have been designed with a flexibility in mind. In addition, we have taken a new approach with our top page, introducing our "7 Values", which are so important to the company, along with the symbols for each value, as a way of expressing our corporate culture.
