Tokyo, 21 October, 2016 – UZABASE, Inc. is pleased to announce that as of today, we are listed on the Mothers of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. We’d like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all involved in the journey so far and for all of the support we have received over the years.

 

Taking our mission of “Business Intelligence to Change Your World”, we aim to achieve even further growth in our business through the development of our two core products: SPEEDA, a web-based financial information platform catered for company and industry analysis, and NewsPicks, a business news curation service with a social media slant.

 

In line with our listing, our board members hereby pledge 3 promises to our shareholders and investors.

We at UZABASE, Inc. could not have gotten to where we are now without the support of countless people since our inception.

 

We are indebted to all those who have taken this rollercoaster ride with us so far— our suppliers, our users, and our employees— and now, we are delighted and humbled to welcome our shareholders into the UZABASE family.

 

To pave the way for a relationship of long-term growth, security, and trust, we hereby pledge the following 3 promises to our shareholders and investors.

Information is what forms the core foundation of each businessperson’s decision-making process. Through the accumulation and dissemination of information, we are thus accorded with the tools necessary to affect change in the world. We believe that our unparalleled devotion to our mission will help us make the world a better place— that is our raison d’etre.

We believe that it is essential for our shareholders to acquire a true and comprehensive understanding of UZABASE: our mission, our successes and, most crucially, our failures. We will thus do our utmost to cultivate a culture of transparency and full disclosure, through the good times and the bad.

We believe the fastest way to earning our shareholders’ trust is by accumulating proved results. But it’s also important to recognise that things don’t always go according to plan. Failure is not something to be feared or shunned.
